Meanwhile, the banned outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has issued a statement claiming that Pakistani security forces attempted a raid on their strongholds in Bajaur early Tuesday morning. The group alleges that their fighters retaliated with force, resulting in the killing of at least seven security personnel and injuring several others.

TTP spokesperson Muhammad Khorasani stated that the group’s policy strictly prohibits endangering civilians during combat operations. However, he accused the security forces of using civilian homes for cover, which led to further public resistance in the area.

“We urge the people of Bajaur and across the country not to allow military personnel near their homes. Ensuring civilian safety is our top priority during warfare,” the statement read.

The situation remains tense in the region as military presence increases and clashes continue. Authorities have called on the public to cooperate fully during the ongoing operation.
