The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, says Afghanistan and Pakistan have agreed to pursue a comprehensive resolution to the tensions that arose following a conflict last October during peace talks in Urumqi, China.
The ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated at a press conference that both countries also pledged not to take any actions that would further escalate or complicate the situation during the meetings held in China.
Mao added that China will maintain ongoing relations with both countries and provide a framework to facilitate continued dialogue.
