Kabul – His Excellency Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, presided over the 20th Cabinet meeting yesterday.
The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by comprehensive discussions on key economic, social, and cultural matters. Ministers reviewed the country’s current situation and made necessary decisions to address pressing issues.
During the meeting, a delegation led by Haji Abdul Qahir, head of the National Statistics and Information Authority, was tasked with organizing a session on the national population census. The delegation will examine all aspects of the proposed plan and submit its final report to the Cabinet for approval.
Additionally, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing received directives to expedite procedures related to the design and approval of construction projects across Afghanistan.
The Cabinet meeting concluded with prayers for the nation’s prosperity and the success of the government’s initiatives. The discussions reflected the leadership’s commitment to addressing national challenges through structured decision-making and effective implementation.
