Report By CBN247 :
A serious incident unfolded in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department when Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation, and Settlement, Naik Muhammad, stormed into the department’s office along with armed men.
The group forcibly occupied the premises for nearly half an hour. During the episode, the Secretary of Education received a threatening phone call demanding the cancellation of a transfer order of a female District Education Officer from North Waziristan. The situation created panic and fear among the staff and disrupted official work.
Secretary Education Muhammad Khalid formally reported the matter to higher authorities, recommending registration of an FIR against the culprits. He also directed all officers of the department to work from home starting September 15, as a precautionary measure to safeguard the dignity of the offices and ensure the safety of employees.
In addition, strict orders have been issued prohibiting the entry of any armed individuals—whether accompanying public representatives or private persons—into the premises of the Education Department and its subordinate offices.
The decision has been taken to preserve the sanctity of government institutions and to guarantee the security of employees.
