The British Council, under Team Europe’s TVET Sector Support Programme, launched its Student Training Outreach Campaign at the Techpreneur Showcase Day 2025, held at the Business Incubation Centre (BIC), University of Peshawar.
Dr. Shakeel Khan, Head of BIC, warmly welcomed all guests and participants, while Pro Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Qazi Muhammad Naeem, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The event showcased innovative tech startups from BIC Cohort 2 and brought together representatives from IMSciences, KPITB, Arfa Karim Technology Incubator, Makkah Group, and the University of Peshawar’s Computer Science Department.
During the ceremony, the British Council announced the launch of the Student Training Outreach Campaign for the Centre of Excellence in Digital and High-Tech Skills, offering fully funded trainings in Digital Marketing and Web Development. Admissions will open on 15 December 2025 for youth from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Techpreneur Showcase Day highlighted the strong collaboration between academia, industry, and development partners, reflecting the growing digital innovation ecosystem in the region. The British Council reaffirmed its commitment to empowering Pakistan’s youth and advancing digital skills through the TVET Sector Support Programme.
