Chairman of the Mardan Education Board, Professor Jahanzeb, emphasized that education is a priceless jewel that guides individuals toward success in every field of life. In today’s world, acquiring education has become the most crucial need of the time, and aligning with modern global standards requires a strong focus on both academic and technical skills.
He expressed these views as the chief guest at the “Top Ten Awards Ceremony” organized by Iqra Education System Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Mardan Press Club.
The ceremony was also addressed by Iqra Education System Director Rehman Yousaf, Deputy Director Abdullah, Mushtaq Ali, Principal Imran Ali, and Shakir Shamas. A large number of top-performing students, teachers, parents, and notable citizens of the city were present.
Professor Jahanzeb congratulated the high-achieving students and said that the true foundation of success lies in hard work, honesty, and consistency. He advised students to first strive to become good human beings so they can contribute positively to both their own lives and society at large.
He further stated that education is not just about obtaining degrees and gold medals; it is also about preparing oneself for the challenges of the future. Students must pursue not only academic knowledge but also practical and technical skills, as the future belongs to those who are in tune with modern technology.
Professor Jahanzeb strongly condemned cheating, calling it a societal disease. He stressed that all stakeholders must work together to eradicate this issue. Only by encouraging creativity among students can we eliminate the culture of academic dishonesty.
On this occasion, the Chairman announced that Mardan Board has digitized most of its academic processes for the convenience of students, and a fully digital system will soon be implemented across all institutions. He urged students to make the most of digital education opportunities.
At the end of the event, awards, medals, and certificates were distributed among the top-performing students, while the efforts of teachers and organizers were also highly appreciated.
